Spring 2023 Week 7: WICS x CTC Git Workshop

WICS had a special visit from Commit the Change (CTC) on May 15th, 2023. We recently hosted an engaging and informative event—a Git workshop that left participants with valuable knowledge and hands-on experience. The workshop featured multiple demos covering essential topics such as cloning repositories, pushing changes to remote repositories, creating branches, and resolving Git conflicts. The attendees enthusiastically followed along, actively participating in the workshop. To conclude the event on a fun note, a small playground repository was introduced. This gave everyone the opportunity to practice their newfound skills by pushing their favorite memes to a website hosted within that repository. The event fostered a sense of collaboration and learning, leaving participants empowered with practical Git expertise and a memorable experience.
