Week 2: Build Your Own Website with Git

04/19/202304/19/2023admin

On Friday, April 14, 2023, WICS held its third Build Your Own Website (BYOW) workshop. This session was focused on the use of Git and GitHub. Attendees were taught what git what and the basics of git. After, they were given the opportunity to do it on their own with the guidance of those who planned the event and other helpers. Git is an important skill for those who plan on entering the programming field, so many left the event with a very important skill for them to apply in their classes and eventually in the workforce!
