Spring 2025: Anteater Awards

We’re beyond excited and grateful to share that WICS has been awarded the 2025 Most Outstanding Organization of the Year at the Anteater Awards!

This recognition is a celebration of everyone who makes WICS a supportive and ever-growing community filled with people who are passionate about technology.

To our 11 other board members: thank you for your nonstop dedication since last summer. From socials and study sessions to outreach and professional development, your heart is in every event we host. Your leadership and genuine efforts to provide opportunities for ownership and collaboration is truly what makes our committee better and better every year.

To our 38 committee members: thank you for your commitment, altruism and passion for supporting young techmakers. Your weekly efforts in curating meaningful events is what brings WICS to greater heights.

To our 600+ general members: thank you for showing up. Whether it’s for mentorship, workshops, or just good vibes at game night, you are the soul of this community. Even if it was just one event, we hope that you were able to take away something valuable and hope to see you again in the fall!

To our fellow ICS clubs and company sponsors: we are so grateful for your partnership and collaboration. Building a stronger tech community is always better together. And to our amazing advisors, Dr. Debra Richardson, Dr. Jennifer Wong-Ma, and Vinh Luong thank you for your advice and guidance throughout the years. We couldn’t be where we are without you!
