Fall 2025 Week 7: AI@UCI x WICS Spot the Bot

On Monday, November 10, 2025, WICS collaborated with AI@UCI to host a fun and informative event where members learned more about the AI field and participated in interactive games! We started off with a presentation on influential women in AI as well as an overview of the basic steps of how an AI model is trained and tested. After receiving this brief introduction to the field, members participated in an Among Us-inspired game, working with each other to weed out the AI-generated response among their teammates’ human responses to a given prompt. The event concluded with a competitive Kahoot quiz on what we learned from the initial presentation, with members neck and neck down to the final question!
