Fall 2023 Week 9: Pitch Perfect with Pacific Life

On Monday, November 27, 2023, WICS partnered with company Pacific Life and held a workshop focused on developing presentation and public speaking skills in professional settings. Representatives from Pacific Life gave insightful information on general speaking tips, using the PAR (Project, Action, Result) method, and exercising nonverbal communication. Attendees were subsequently divided into groups to practice these skills in an engaging way by preparing a two-minute presentation that solved a workplace problem.
