Fall 2020 Week 5: WICS x ICS Blizzard’s Battle.net Platform Virtual Info Session

On Monday, November 2nd, 2020 of Week 5, WICS and ICS Student Council members joined by a Blizzard representative had an information session to cover roles at Blizzard, but more specifically their online multiplayer server platform- Battle.net. They were able to answer very intricate questions and I think it was definitely very helpful in learning the way game servers and platforms work, and the type of work potential SWEs would do working on that team. The session ended with a Q&A, and then there were breakout sessions for 10 lucky students who were able to get their resume reviewed by the representative!
