Fall 2026 Week 4: Mentorship Reveal
On Monday, October 19, WICS hosted its Mentorship Reveal following the Mentorship Mixer. Members got to find out who was in their mentorship fams and learn more about the mentorship program! After the reveal, participants played mini games to get to know their new fam members and bond in a fun, relaxed setting. The event was filled with excitement as members made new connections and kicked off their mentorship experience together!

Fall 2026 Week 3: WICS Games
On Monday, October 11th, 2026, WICS hosted our annual WICS Games networking event! 11 company representatives from Costar, Fincons, Blizzard, and First American joined over 80 WICS members for an evening of collaborative competitions. Teams of 6-8 students, with one company rep each, competed for merch and prizes through CS trivia, logic puzzles, and coding problems. As with every WICS Games, this year's event created close bonds between students, recruiters, and company employees. It was an evening of casual, fun networking, fueled by special catering.

Fall 2026 Week 2: Mentorship Mixer
On Monday, October 5th, WICS held its Mentorship Mixer! Mentors and mentees met one another first through two rotating circles, answering prompts related to school, music, and food. Afterward, members shuffled into random groups where they created shared playlists and were tasked with finding unique and shared traits within each group. Groups began merging based on shared interests—such as favorite emojis or liking chocolate—until everyone in the room eventually formed a massive conga line. Once the meeting concluded, members walked over to UTC to continue their conversations at WICS’ Cha Fundraiser!

Fall 2026 Week 1: First General Meeting
Happy First General Meeting! On Monday, September 28th, WICS hosted the first general meeting of the year where new and returning students were welcomed. The night started off with introductions from the WICS co-presidents and more information about WICS. Then, to learn about each committee, members were split into groups that rotated through 4 activities led by committee co-chairs. The activities included Elementary Explanations (Community Outreach), #WICSTokers (Marketing), Speed Networking (External Affairs), and Human Bingo (Internal Affairs). Also, there was a cute photobooth for members to take pics and remember their first WICS meeting of the school year. The night was filled with new connections, learning about the committees, and amazing memories to start the year with!

Spring 2026 Week 10: WICS Banquet
On Monday, June 1st, 2026, WICS hosted its annual banquet for an evening of food, laughter, and community to celebrate the end of the academic year. Members had a chance to catch up with friends, enjoy some fun awards, and look back on all that happened throughout the year. It was a memorable night filled with good conversations and great company, making it the perfect way to wrap up another year with WICS.

Spring 2026 Week 9: General Retreat
On Friday, May 29th, 2026, WICS hosted a general retreat for the committee members at Corona Del Mar State Beach. Committee members had the opportunity to deepen their bond with each other through various board games, such as Scrabble, sharing food, and watching dolphins together. Near the end, members huddled together to watch the beautiful sunset from the shores, creating fond memories that will last for a lifetime.
